Loong Fu Pai Martial Arts has been an integral part of Victoria, Australia, since its establishment in 1981. The academy offers classes throughout the South Eastern suburbs and Queensland. Loong Fu Pai places great emphasis on confidence, self-esteem, and group interaction. It strives to build discipline, self-defense skills, and coordination among its students. The style of Loong Fu Pai Martial Arts is deeply rooted in the philosophy of the Shaolin animals and their attributes. The term “Loong” means Dragon, “Fu” means Tiger, and “Pai” refers to Style or group. One of the chambers in the Shaolin Temple was known as “LOONG FU TANG,” meaning “DRAGON & TIGER CHAMBER.” The style’s techniques are based on five Shaolin animals: Loong (Dragon) for speed, Fu (Tiger) for swift total body movements, Par (Leopard) for agility, Sher (Snake) for fluidity, and Park Hock (Crane) for calmness.
